Jaan was born and raised in Oldenburg, Germany. After moving

to Hamburg in 1999, Jaan started his career working alongside the

well-known photographer, Gabo. He later moved to New York

where he began his first independent projects and where he

developed an eye for beauty and fashion photography.

In 2009, Jaanâ€™s relocation to Paris enabled him

to establish numerous working relationships with clients in the

editorial and commercial worlds in Europe.
